Hi guys, really quick post today.
For the longest time now I have not understood why Contact Form 7 gets so many downloads, aside from the snowball effect that it has so many downloads already.
It requires shortcode knowledge to customize, and if that’s not a tall order for beginners (like me once) then understanding the developers (in fact probably great people) instructions certainly are.
Well yesterday when I realized the form just wasn’t sending I had had enough.
I’ll wait until the creators of this contact form plugin for WordPress fix the issue – for now my solution is: JotForm!
How to Use JotForm to Send Contact Us Forms in WordPress
Video tutorial coming soon, for now, join me at JotForm!
After setting up a free account it took about 4 minutes to figure out. Loving it here.
There is no reliable way to debug email delivery issues without direct and full access to the sending server. The only reliable way of checking if the contact form submissions are working is by using the submission storage plugins mentioned above. You can assume that Contact Form 7 is not working only if you don’t see the submissions being captured by those plugins.
