You have to really get to know your target audience. This is a great way to help yourself come up with the most relevant and helpful content.

I also agree with you, being a “pirate” is one way to rise above. I’m not saying that stealing is good online, but borrowing ideas is. I wouldn’t even call this “stealing”, it is borrowing ideas and I believe everyone’s doing it. Right.

What helps me with this is jotting down my blog post ideas as they come to mind. I then am able to select one of those ideas and begin to free write on the subject for a minimum of 10 minutes. Once done I have the beginnings to a blog post on the selected topic.
