The Blogger Visits ProBlogger…This Friday

It’s happening again…
It will change things in the blogosphere…
The Blogger is hitting the front page of ProBlogger…in less than a week.

1) What’s the topic this time around?
That’s obviously what you’re wondering but I can’t tell you…yet. ProBlogger actually won’t let me or they’ll send heat-seaking WordPress missiles at DearBlogger (jk). The article is not on Playboy mags and it’s not blog post SEO. It’s not how full I am after Thanksgiving. You’ll be surprised when you find out this post is actually on something really simple. I talk about one of the first decisions we make in blogging. And, I did quite a bit of psych research on the matter to provide some really eye-opening points.

This post will literally split the blogosphere in two. Jump aboard the (really) brand new Dear Blogger Facebook Page to be the first to know when it goes live.

2) Your mission is simple.
I need the Dear Blogger community’s help this time. Your objective? Just tell one person about this post the moment it airs. You’ve been commenting, sharing, Liking and going ballistic over DearBlogger posts for about three months now and for that I say a humongous thanks. And while Darren Rowse could basically publish a picture of a Ford Tauras and it’d go viral, I want this one to go bigger, mega-viral.

See, my last post at ProBlogger called The Only SEO Your Blog Posts Need did great with nearly 60 comments and 400+ shares. But I’m all about improving, on virtually anything. So let’s join forces and blow this one through the roof. I’ll warn you, this post is long and complex and may tick some people off. But I think you’ll handle it great.

8) Social media is really taking over the world…
Cough cough err, did you just wake up from a 10 year slumber there Blogger? It’s true I’ve always been more focused on creating content than on social media but we now finally have our own Dear Blogger Facebook page so head over there and smack that Like button. Don’t worry if it seems lonely, it’s totally brand new I’m sure it’ll get busy quickly. The Facebook page is one great way to get in on the rapidly growing excitement here. I’ll be over there day and night answering your questions too, so ask away young Padawan.
